St Mungos Festival

St Kentigern – better known as St Mungo, patron saint of Glasgow, is celebrated during the city’s official St Mungo Festival in January. The festival, which honours the Fife-born monk’s work to establish and expand the city of Glasgow around the sixth century, will be celebrated in song, music and dance.

The Society of Friends of Glasgow Cathedral organise events around the St Mungos Festival in Glasgow.
